I have a small online store and would like to have a better website building program. I currently us Yahoo Sitebuilder but feel limited. What program is good for my online store and what is the easiest? I’m better with teh “drag and drop” and not so good at coding.
thanks
Visual Site Designer is awesome for noobs/beginners. Its drag and drop, but yet can do complex functions at the same time! http://www.coffeecup.com/designer/

It’s a loaded question. I’ve found that you’ll always be limited with any program that drag and drops. Adobe suite (with Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop) is the benchmark for all web designs with code. Outside of that, any large provider has an integrated store front with them – Network Solutions, Yahoo, GoDaddy, etc. – but the cost is based on the number of items you’re selling.

I knew nothing about html or coding when I first starting building my websites. I searched the internet for a host that would be easy for me. I found Site Build It! and have never second guessed my decision. You can create a website without ever dealing with html code, or you can upload your own html pages. It gives you the choice.
You build your site using an easy block by block builder. They also have a wealth of tools to use to help you drive traffic to your website. Many people put up a website but find that no one knows about it. Site Build IT! has allowed me to focus on building great content and they do the rest. They analyze your pages for the search engines to ensure that they will be indexed which will bring you free targeted traffic. They also submit your pages manually to google, yahoo, live, and ask. I don’t have to know a thing about how to do this! Which again, helps me to focus on creating more great content.
Proof that this works. I have been building my site for 18 months and already number 1 on google’s top page. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=easy+diabetic+recipes&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=
For Easy Diabetic Recipes.
For more information visit my website. I have also listed 2 other sites that I have built and am currently building for others. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have! http://www.easy-diabetic-recipes.com/contact-me.html Good Luck, it is an exciting process and is rewarding when you see your content come alive.
